Al Forno situated at 36 East Street in the heart of Brighton’s Lanes. Is a busy Traditional Neapolitan Pizzeria, café was established in 1973 and was the first wood fired pizzeria in the UK. The property has plenty of charm and dates back to 17th century as it was the home of Martha Gunn the original bathing woman from 1727 to 1814. Arranged over three floors, with ample seating with the addition of a sheltered piazza for al fresco dining, (weather permitting from April to October) alternatively relax inside the conservatory or to the raised ground floor seating area in full view of the wood fired pizza oven.
